The University of Nevada’s Cattlemen’s Update 2012 begins a week-long road trip on Monday as experts begin their presentation that morning in Reno and the evening at Fallon.
Registration for the Fallon program is at 6 p.m. at the multi-purpose building at the Churchill County Fairgrounds. The program begins at 6:30 p.m.
The University of Nevada Cooperative Extension and the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources are hosting the 2012 Cattlemen’s Update in January in various locations around the state. The program is presented in person in Reno, Fallon, Wellington, Ely, Elko and Winnemucca between Jan. 9-13, and the Jan. 9 event will be available via interactive video at several locations around the state.
The program features information on the beef market from the Livestock Marketing Information Center, as well as information on ranching-related research from State Extension Veterinarian David Thain, from the Cooperative Extension and the College of Agriculture.
