Green Industry Continuing Education Series (GICES) is a new offering of University of Nevada Cooperative Extension. Its goal is to provide current, accurate and useful information to Nevada’s green industry in a way that respects green industry members’ fast‐paced schedules.

Informational sessions are one‐hour, provide valuable information, and Continuing Education Units and are offered on topics relevant to YOU.

Join us for a hands-on session on the identification of spring weeds. You’ll learn practical ways to identify some of the weeds likely to evoke Utility companies perform utility pruning of trees to protect life, property and system delivery. Sometimes the level of utility pruning required can startle landscapers and homeowners.

Join us for this hour-long presentation to learn more about why utility pruning is necessary, how it is done and how the severe pruning that is required when trees and utility lines conflict can be prevented.

The class will be held at University of Nevada Cooperative Extension Western Area/Washoe County office located at 4955 Energy Way in Reno.
