Class Date and Time: October 19th, 2011, noon – 1 p.m.

Class Location: Reno and Carson City

Class Description: Presented by: Brian S. Dean, Consulting Arborist. Planting trees in parking lots and sidewalks is a common commercial landscaping technique. Similar planters can also be found in many home landscape installations.

Unfortunately, this method of landscaping with trees, called “tree coffins,” shortens the lives of the planted trees and increases their cost. Learn about the effects and costs of tree coffins from Arborist Brian S. Dean in this short informational lecture.

Participants may attend in our Reno office, 4955 Energy Way, to view the presentation live. Attendees may participate in the presentation via videoconference at our Carson City office, 2621 Northgate Ln., Ste. 15.
