Green Industry Continuing Education Series (GICES) is a new offering of University of Nevada Cooperative Extension. Its goal is to provide current, accurate and useful information to Nevada’s green industry in a way that respects green industry members’ fast‐paced schedules.

Informational sessions are one‐hour, provide valuable information, and Continuing Education Units and are offered on topics relevant to YOU.

Class Description: Presented by: Susan Donaldson, Water Quality Education Specialist, University of Nevada Cooperative Extension.

Join us for a hands-on session on the identification of spring weeds.  You’ll learn practical ways to identify some of the weeds likely to evoke questions and cause problems in northern Nevada landscapes. We’ll have plant samples to examine and we’ll also provide some basic management strategies for these weeds.

Participants may attend in our Reno office, 4955 Energy Way, to view the presentation live. Attendees may participate in the presentation via videoconference at our Carson City office, 2621 Northgate Ln., Ste. 15.
