Green Industry Continuing Education Series (GICES) is a new offering of University of Nevada Cooperative Extension. Its goal is to provide current, accurate and useful information to Nevada’s green industry in a way that respects green industry members’ fast‐paced schedules.

Informational sessions are one‐hour, provide valuable information, and Continuing Education Units and are offered on topics relevant to YOU.

Every year, the Nevada Department of Agriculture receives numerous reports of accidental damage to landscapes from the use of herbicides and insecticides. The damage ranges from dead and dying trees to turf damage, not to mention monetary penalties for using pesticides improperly. Learn common causes of pesticide-related injuries so you can protect yourself and avoid costly mistakes.
