In partnership with Nevada Department of Agriculture, University of Nevada Cooperative Extension offers a Nevada Pesticide Applicator Certification and Training program. This program is designed for professionals working in the commercial horticulture field who use pesticides as a means of controlling insect, vertebrate and plant pests for their job.

The requirements for certification and the recertification process are outlined under regulatory information. A Nevada Pesticide Applicator’s Certification Workbook is available online or as a hard copy at most Nevada Cooperative Extension county offices. To purchase a certification workbook for pickup at Washoe County Cooperative Extension or ship directly to your home visit our shop. A free online training course and practice exam are available.
