Local Farmer, Community Food Coop Recruiting Help for Farming Family Affected by Crash

The terrible Tuesday morning (August 14th) accident on Highway 50 has affected one of Nevada’s local small family farmers, the Holleys. Their son is waiting be flown to a burn unit in California and their daughter is in Renown’s new pediatric unit.

Wendy Baroli of GirlFarm (contactgirlfarm@mac.com) and Amber Sallaberry of The Great Basin Community Food Coop (amber@greatbasinfood.coop) are collecting monetary and physical goods donations for the family as well as rallying those who can provide transportation or other hands-on help for the family.
