Plant and Insect Identification

Bringing in a plant or an insect for ID? With our computer/microscope system, you'll be able to see on the computer screen what we see through the microscope. In this picture, a lady bug is eating an aphid!

Master Gardener volunteers are available to identify unknown plants and insects. Quicker, more accurate identifications are made when as much information about the insect or plant is available. To help you collect information useful to the identification process, Master Gardeners will use the following forms. You may print, complete and bring in the form when you bring in your insect or plant. If you do not have a printer, copies of these forms are available at the office and our volunteers will help you complete them.
