University of Nevada, Reno Extension is offering sixteen “Grow Your Own, Nevada!” classes in spring and four classes in fall statewide to help Nevadans who want to get on a path to more sustainable, local, healthy living by growing and preserving more of their own food.
The workshops will provide gardeners and those interested in growing healthy foods with a “back-to-the-basics” guide to great harvests in Nevada.
The University Zoom license can only accommodate 300 viewers per class session. If you saw “Sold out” for the original dates please check the new sessions below!
Online Class Registration
Due to overwhelming interest the class series has been expanded! The following classes have been added to run from 2 pm – 3:30 pm. Click on the additional dates below to sign up!
Classes are only held via Zoom video conference for the Spring 2020 session!
In light of developments regarding COVID-19, the Grow Your Own, Nevada! spring class series will be offered for free in an online format in lieu of in-person classes. Correspondingly, all class fees will be refunded to those that have already purchased tickets.
