Green Industry Continuing Education Series (GICES) is a new offering of University of Nevada Cooperative Extension. Its goal is to provide current, accurate and useful information to Nevada’s green industry in a way that respects green industry members’ fast‐paced schedules.

Informational sessions are one‐hour, provide valuable information, and Continuing Education Units and are offered on topics relevant to YOU.

Herbicide resistance is a growing problem, in part due to the reliance on Roundup-Ready crops. Do you know the difference between tolerance and resistance?  Join us and find out!  You’ll also learn how resistance occurs and how to avoid resistance in the future, so glyphosate can continue to be a valuable tool in managing weeds.
